Background and Practice:
My personal practice, developed over the last 20 years,
is drawn from the more dyanmic forms of yoga including Ashtanga yoga and Jivamukti yoga as well as incorporating softer forms
of Yin or Therapeutic yoga.
My class style is a dynamic vinyasa flow. The principles of attention and awareness
coupled with breath synchronised movement create a challenging and stimulating practice that strengthens, energises and relaxes
while also encouraging students to work at their own pace and listen to their bodies.
I teach in a way that
will assist all my students to discover elements of postural alingment and the presence of inner peace, tranquility of mind,
self-acceptance and deep seated happiness that leads to the state called yoga.
I work as an independent yoga teacher
sharing my enthusiasm for yoga with everyone I teach and offer both mixed level clases and one-to-one tuition. I continue
to learn and remain, as always, a student and a dedicated explorer of the infinity of yoga and all that it offers.
